Want to be famous?
Now with FameThrower it's possible! All you need to do is upload a photo of yourself and pay your way to stardom. Why take the stairs when you can ride the elevator? The people who pay the most will rise to A-list status and will be displayed more prominently relative to everyone else on the site (just like in real life!).
Does your band have a new record coming out? Promote yourselves in a truly unique way! Want to put your headshot up for the whole world to see? Now you can put it in a place where thousands of people will see it every day.
What am I paying for?
Half of all the money we receive will be donated to ProLiteracy Worldwide, because fame is a silly commodity anyway. The other half of the money will be used to fund a startup media company dedicated to helping aspiring filmmakers.
What is ProLiteracy Worldwide?
ProLiteracy Worldwide is a nonprofit international literacy organization founded in 2002. They sponsor educational programs to teach adults and families the literacy skills they need to function more effectively in their daily lives. FameThrower will be donating half of all the money we receive to ProLiteracy Worldwide because we believe that literacy is a basic human right.

How are the pictures organized?
Fame increases from right to left and from bottom to top. So the person with the highest amount of fame gets the spot at the top left of the page and the D-list celebs can be found in the bottom right.
Which shape should I choose? And is there a strategy?
We always suggest picking the shape that best fits the picture you want to use, because who doesn't love a well framed photo! But as it turns out, there is quite a bit of strategy involved when selecting your shape. For now we'll leave it up to you to figure out the best strategy.
